    Spacing Schedule After Spacing Schedules are configured, they can be assigned to routings. If Seasonal Grow Versions are used, they should be assigned to the grow versions. Once assigned, the square units will populate on the lines based on the default Work Centers on the select Spacing Schedule. The View by can be changed to Square Units or Labor & Overhead Rates on the Routing Seasonal Grow Times page and the values can be manually overwritten if needed.
    Master Routing The system will set a routing as a Master Routing when Seasonal Grow Versions are created against a Routing.

    Routing Link Code Specifies the routing link for the task. Non-recurring tasks can use backwards flushing for components. Recurring tasks must be flushed at the operation level rather than the task level.
    Skip Line if Zero Total Time If there is an operation, such as winterizing, that should not be on some but not all of the Seasonal Grow Version the Skip Line if Zero Total Time checkbox can be checked on the base routing. If this field is selected, the line will be deleted from the routing when production orders are created if the total time equals zero.
    Planting Hold If a routing is for planning weeks when planting does not occur, toggling the Planting Hold column on lines will zero any time specified on the on the routing and the Planning Worksheet will not suggest starting Grow Orders during that time. Instead, Grow Orders will be suggested during the period specified in the Hold Planning Filter filed to fulfill the demand.
    Hold Planning Filter Specifies the period to for the Planning Worksheet to suggest starting Grow Orders for demand during the Planting Hold period.
    Exclude From Grow Schedule If operations need to be on the routing but should not be included in the grow schedule. Checking off the Exclude from Grow Schedule field on the routing will have the system ignore the routing line for Grow Order phases but keep the line on the created routing.
    Ending Date Formula This field will take an expression that represents a period of time based on a number and a calendar unit and convert it into the appropriate Setup Time based on the Setup Time Unit of Measure. The calendar units available to be used are:
    • D – Day(s)
    • W – Week(s)
    • M – Month(s)
    • Q – Quarter(s)
    • Y – Year(s)
    In order for the ending date to calculated as expected the Work Center’s calendar must be configured to run for 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

    Task Lines

    FIELD NAME FUNCTION
    No. Select the Task Works Center you want to apply to the routing.
    Method Select the method used to schedule the task.
    • From Start: The Task occurs once and is scheduled from the start of the phase based on the Schedule Calculation.
    • From End: The Task occurs once and is scheduled from the end of the phase based on the Schedule Calculation. Calculations must be entered as negative i.e. -7D.
    • Recurring: The Task recurs. It starts based on the Schedule Calculation and recurs based on the Recurring Schedule Calculation.
    Starting Calculation Determines when to schedule the first task. For example, if the task should be scheduled on the first day of the operation then 0D should be input into this field. If using the From End Method, a negative value should be input.
    Recurring Schedule Calculation Determines how often the task should recur after the first instance. For example if a task should start one week after the start of the phase and recur every two days after that then the user should put 1W into the Schedule Calculation field and 2D into the Recurring Schedule Calculation.
    Ending Calculation Determines when to stop scheduling recurring tasks. For example, if the recurring tasks end 10 days after this grow phase begins then a value of 10D should be input.
    Setup Time Set to specify the setup time of the operation. This time will be applied per order.
    Setup Time Unit of Measure Code Specify the time unit of measure for setup.
    Run Time Set to specify the run time of the operation. This time will be multiplied by the quantity produced.
    Run Time Unit of Measure Code Specify the run time unit of measure.

    Routing Actions

    FIELD NAME FUNCTION
    Create Seasonal Grow Versions Click to create a Seasonal Grow Versions by selecting Seasonal Grow Times that represent the growing periods with different lengths.
    Manage Seasonal Grow Times Click to edit any existing Seasonal Grow Versions.
    Update Grow Orders Click to update any Grow Orders using this routing with the latest changes.

    General FastTab

    FIELD NAME FUNCTION
    Status Specifies the status of this routing. To be used in Grow Orders the status must be set to Certified.
    View By Specifies what values the operation columns will display in the Versions by Operations table.

    Versions by Operations FastTab

    Here you can manage different seasonal versions side by side.

    FIELD NAME FUNCTION
    Version Code The identifying code of the version displayed on the line.
    Operation Column(s) Columns with a name "Operations No.-Operation" represent the operation from the routing lines. These columns are added automatically and the values they display are set with the View By field in the General FastTab.
    Total Setup Time Displays the sum of the versions operation setup times.
    Planning Filter Specifies the periods in which the Seasonal Grow Version should be used.
    Sync Spacing Schedule Determines whether the Seasonal Grow Version uses the same Spacing Schedule as the Master Routing.
    Spacing Schedule Code If the version is not synced with space schedules you can set a Spacing Schedule Code to apply to that line.
